My name is Kimanthi Gicovi and I am currently a first-year medical school student. Prior to med school, I graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering and received my Master's degree in Biomedical Studies from Drexel College of Medicine. I have over 6 years of experience tutoring individual students and also worked as a teaching assistant at the graduate school level. I am passionate about teaching and working with students. I have experience working with high school, college and graduate students and have a subject expertise that include Biology, Physics, Math, Physiology, Biochemistry.
My approach to tutoring is focused on helping students build a strong foundational understanding of concepts, strengthening their ability to critically think and apply their knowledge.
In my personal time, I enjoy traveling, cooking and exploring 3D printing as a hobby.
