I have been passionate about mathematics and teaching others math for as long as I could remember. Unlike the popular opinion, I see math as a multidimensional subject rather than black-and-white. I believe a problem, even the ones with one correct answer, can be approached in multiple ways. Hence, all students can become good math students if they are given the opportunity to learn math tailored to their interests and learning styles, which is why differentiated instruction is important of my instruction. In addition to my academic focus, I enjoy involving myself in projects where I can express my creativity like painting, making music, and dancing. I am passionate about the Christian ministry. I have been working with a lot of youths (high school and college age) as part of my leadership role with UGA's Christian ministry and at my home church; this was one big factor that pushed me into my calling of becoming a teacher.
