My tutoring style involves implementing metacognitive questions to promote higher order thinking rather than just simple memorization. However, I firmly believe that students must have a concrete understanding of the basic, yet fundamental, material before attempting to learn more advanced concepts. I am an undergraduate student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, majoring in Chemistry with minors in Creative Writing and Health and Society. After my undergraduate studies, I hope to attend medical school.
