About Me

Hello! My name is Izzy, I'm 23 years old, and I'm originally from Danville, Indiana. I got my bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Vassar College in Spring 2018. I'm currently in graduate school to become a pharmacist - I'm in my first year of the PharmD program at Northeastern University. As you can probably guess, my area of expertise is the sciences - specifically Biology and Chemistry. However, I am also able to teach other subjects such as math through high school levels, and standardized test prep (SAT, ACT, PCAT, etc).I have been tutoring with Varsity Tutors since June 2018. While in undergrad, I was a college-level General and Organic Chemistry tutor, as well as a Chemistry laboratory instructor. Before college, I was a private nanny and homeschooling educator for an eleven-year-old student. I am happy to work with students of all ages, but I believe my skill set and experience are better suited to slightly older students (middle/high school and college).I look forward to hearing from you!
