I am a recent UCF Biology graduate and love everything related to marine life and biology in general! For my whole life, I have been passionate about passing my knowledge on to others. I've been tutoring my friends and peers since I was in middle school and have been a professional tutor for the past three years. I enjoy working on multiple subjects with my students as part of a holistic approach. I am a voracious reader and, in my free time, I work through my ever-growing collection of classic novels. As a tutor, I strive to create an environment where learning can be looked forward to and provide lessons that last.
Tutoring, to me, should always start with the goal of a bittersweet ending. I am, of course, always sad to see a student move on but I know that tutoring is meant as a stepping stone and not a permanent solution. I structure my lessons around this ideology and try to build my students' confidence to work on their own. I believe any student can be successful both with a tutor and beyond if only they receive the tools they need to problem solve on their own.
