About Me

I just graduated from Columbia University, so the experience of institutional learning is still very fresh for me! I'm able to relate to students and provide a current perspective on education. I have experience tutoring English at ESL level, in reading, speaking, and writing. Having learnt several languages myself and being a trilingual speaker (Cantonese, English, Mandarin), I understand the challenges of navigating between languages and am familiar with ways to overcome them. In addition to this, I have taught beginner violin and basic music theory. I've always developed good relationships with my students and their parents, and I strongly believe that this helps the learning process a lot!
