As an educator, I have nearly four years of teaching experience during my Bachelor's. My fellow classmates always enjoyed learning mathematics from me. A Bachelor of Engineer Degree in Biotechnology from PESIT (India), and currently pursuing Master of Science in Biostatistics from University of Pittsburgh, have provided me with the requisite skills to assist students as they grow as academics and researchers. I tutor for mathematics and graduate level statistics. I have worked with students of all ability levels, including those with specific learning needs and gifted learners.
My philosophy on education and tutoring is student-centered; my goal is to support students in not only learning and understanding, but in developing work ethic, studying and note-taking skills, and self-advocacy. I have a passion for mathematics.
Outside of the classroom, hobbies include reading, running, cooking, baking, badminton, dancing, singing and yoga. I enjoy being physically active and spending time outside.
