Spending time with my five adopted children watching them discover the world I love to read nonfiction especially early Americna history from the pre-revolution to post Civil War. My favorite author is David McCullough. I like to read biographies of great leaders as well. My favorite writer in this genre is Walter Isaacson and I am currently reading his book, *The Innovators*. I also enjoy listening various types of music varying from fusion jazz (Snarky Puppy) to rock-n-roll such as Dave Matthews Band and Bruce Springsteen (great American storyteller) I love learning about the world around me. I am committed to being a life-long learner.
