I earned my BA in political science, psychology, and writing from the University of Indianapolis, and minored in Spanish. For the last year, I taught K-12 in San Francisco's Bay Area, qualified for every subject excluding math. For nearly two years now I've worked as an academic researcher and writer for clients ranging from university boards, professors, and individual students. Currently, I am enrolled in a master's program for teaching and instruction, and plan to continue indulging my passion for education upon graduation.
Outside of academia, I am currently in the process of publishing my first book. I also enjoy writing short stories, and playing piano in my folk and bluegrass band. At the end of a long day, my husband and I enjoy geeking out on superhero movies and science-fiction literature.
