Akinlabi

My name is Aki and I joined Varsity Tutors because I enjoy learning about science and technology and sharing that gained knowledge with others in a way that will help them make positive differences in their lives.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Marine Science and a Master's Degree in Education. I taught science (middle schools science, high school biology, anatomy/physiology) for nearly ten years before a desire to change fields steered me into information technology. I still tutor in the areas of science, math, ELA, and offer test prep as well.

To me, tutoring is even better than teaching in a classroom because you get a better chance to see growth, both in your student and in yourself.
