About Me

Hello! My name is Kouri and I love words! And I'd love to help you with anything involving words. Reading, Writing, Grammar, and anything within the English Language Arts is my forte. I am an enthusiastic, dedicated educator who has a passion for literature, composition, empowerment, and life-long learning. As a tutor, I prioritize tutor-student relationships in order to relate material uniquely, differentiate accordingly, and cultivate intrinsic motivation for each student, respectively. I am able to vary instructional styles to meet different learning- style needs. At my core, I am an unashamed believer in the power of a teacher who cares. I am one semester of full-time student teaching away from graduating from Ashland University as an Integrated Language Arts and English Double Major, with a minor in Online Instruction. I am eager to get into my dream classroom, so until them I am excited to work with students through Varsity Tutors!
