I graduated from Emory University in May of 2016 with a BSc in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology. I started tutoring peers my freshman year in General Biology, and gradually moved on to other subjects, such as Biochemistry and MCAT prep as I learned the topics myself. As someone who struggled to learn in elementary and middle school, I understand how frustrating a new concept can be, and do my best to develop individualized study plans for all my students. My goal is always to ensure that my students will eventually become academically independent with their subjects, to the point where I feel they could tutor someone else in that same content.
I currently work as a Research Specialist at the Emory University school of Medicine in the physiology department. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, weight lifting, Uke, and hiking.
