I am a recent graduate from the University of North Texas. I obtained my BA in Biology and then returned for an MA in Linguistics, along with a Graduate Certificate in TESOL. Teaching is a passion of mine, particularly teaching English as a Second Language. I have been tutoring for over three years, and have created an ESL class at a local church to help serve my community. Many students seek help from an ESL teacher for a specific reason. It could be to raise their TOEFL scores, strengthen their communication skills for their job, or for a better quality of life while living in an English speaking country. Whatever the reason, I am here to help my students to the best of my ability. My teaching philosophy is that I aim to motivate my students, while instilling confidence. I want my students to leave my lessons with confidence in the skills that they have just gained.
Aside from creating fun and interactive English lessons, my hobbies include playing the guitar, going for walks, and learning Korean. I also love music and watching foreign dramas.
