I am a third year Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology major at Emory University. My tutoring career unofficially began helping my younger siblings with homework, but has since professionalized! I have tutored students ranging in age, interest, background, and academic capabilities. In the past year, I spent most of my time tutoring 3rd to 6th graders, working on math, reading, writing, and science homework. I also edited college English and biology papers. My favorite subjects to tutor are writing and the sciences! I love to get to know my student's interests and fill sessions with fun activities and relevant discussions. My primary goal in tutoring is to build my students' confidence, both in the material and in their ability to take control of their learning. Most importantly, I try to relate what we're learning to real world problems! In my spare time, I like to read the Economist, read a good book, hang with friends and run.
