I am a scientist turned educator that uses the essence of science, curiosity, to guide my teaching. I earned an Industrial Microbiology degree at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus. I have been teaching Middle School Science for 3 years and provided tutoring for the 6th and 7th graders I have taught. Teaching these grade levels provided me with experience to aid in Earth Science, Space Science, Environmental Science, Life Science, and Physical Science. I love tutoring for different Science subjects because the magic to science is feeding your curiosity and curiosity can be never-ending. I feel that in tutoring one must explore the deeper and untouched topics explained in class to discover true understanding of a subject. I find it very important to teach efficient ways to use the internet to reach our academic goals. Due to the technological age we live in, we sometimes get lost in the excess information available and can get tricked by articles not backed by research. I am definitely a technology aficionado who is a gamer (PS4) but I also enjoy playing the violin, and love learning dance choreographies.
