I have tutored as a peer tutor in French Language, Mathematics, and Social Studies/Sciences since I was in high school and have taken 2 and a half years worth of education course work. I am here to help and cannot wait to help you learn in the best way possible for you.
My experience in tutoring began as a peer tutor in French and Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II in high school. From there, I moved to tutoring in Mathematics, French, History, and Social Sciences based on my performance in certain courses and my success at tutoring struggling individuals. My resources to help student in Mathematics, French, History, and Political Science are vast and many are accessible online outside of our tutoring sessions.
My philosophy in education as a tutor is that every student is capable of building on their previous knowledge and that it is my role to help facilitate that. It is my job to expose students to new materials, new approaches, and new methods of practice and preparation that can help them succeed.
When I am not tutoring, I am working on my Master of Divinity, reading, writing, or watching movies. I spend a lot of time thinking about the world and the best solutions to today's problems from a variety of political and religious lenses and am very active in the community in which I live. My favorite show to watch right now on Netflix is the Great British Baking Show.
