I have always loved to travel which I guess is why I studied languages in the first place. When I took on French at West Virginia University it was something I simply enjoyed. After I finished my music studies I moved to Lyon, France where I was able to focus on independent music research. I fell in love with the French culture through performances, business meetings, collaborations, and time with friends. I loved it so much that I stayed there for two years. Now I am back in the States helping students with their French and helping fellow travelers like myself learn the language so that they may have an easier and more meaningful experience. As a teacher I am calm and laid back and French is often taught best that way. Most of my students not only learn what they need for coursework, they learn cultural aspects and speaking as well. I am a firm believer in teaching culture with the language because it is often difficult to learn and understand the language otherwise.
I love cooking, traveling, and trying new restaurants. I am also cheerful and love to laugh. So I watch movies, comedies and comedians.
