I just recently returned from a year abroad in Argentina. I attended an Argentinean university where I studied Spanish and Latin American Politics. In my spare time, I worked as a tutor in a slum within the city of Buenos Aires and gave private english lessons. At my home university in New York, I am pursuing a double major in International Relations and Latin American Studies with a minor in Communications. One of the most rewarding aspects of tutoring is learning about new people and connecting with those I wouldn't have the opportunity to meet otherwise. I love to think of tutoring as a mutual learning session, and a mutual sense of success when progress is made. Given that we all come from different backgrounds, I find that I too end up learning new things throughout a session as a student does learning how to improve their english or Spanish. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with people of all different backgrounds and hope to help you on your journey to success!
