I am a graduate of Mercer University with a BA in French and a minor in Spanish. I also received an MA from Emory University in French and Spanish. After working with numbers of international students, I completed the three graduate courses to obtain an endorsement to teach ESL in Georgia. The beginning of my career was teaching in a regular classroom. I have now added 14 years of teaching online. I have been fortunate to teach French, English, ESL and Spanish face to face and virtually. I am passionate about guiding students to be successful academically. My main strategies include teaching to diverse learning styles, celebrating student success, and being patient throughout the learning process. I believe that education is essential for an improved quality of life. As a coach, I am eager to help my students be successful.
In my free time, I have traveled to France, Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Canada, the US Virgin Islands and Japan. Now I love spending time with my two doggies, gardening and listening to a lot of audio books (especially mysteries and detective books) during the large amount driving I do living in the Atlanta area.
