As someone with a learning disability (ADD) I know how much difference a good tutor can make in a child's life. I still remember of my former tutors fondly, and it is likely that without their aid at critical points in my development, I would not have gone on to enjoy creative writing, my chosen vocation.
I take a measured and personalized approach to tutoring, drawing upon experiences gained while teaching special education, coaching and my own journey from struggling student to gaining my MFA.
