I am experienced public education school teacher, having taught elementary mathematics, remedial math and 6th grade for 5 years. I am a graduate of Lesley University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education and I also hold a Master of Science in Education from Wheelock College. I primarily tutor students in elementary school mathematics.
Along with my education, I have had over 30 years of experience in the business sector, in retail and corporate sales, customer and human services and restaurant management.
My experience gives me a view of education and instruction through a broad lens. This helps me frame teaching concepts in creative ways for students who will need to apply them to real-world situations.
In addition to teaching and work experience, I have acted as a mentor to students embracing martial arts skills, allowing me to impart to my students an understanding of the importance of focus, self-discipline, and perseverance.
