What is your teaching philosophy?

The best way to teach a student is to have them answer problems on their own. As a tutor, I am there to help students reach the answer, not to be there for the answer. Specifically, I ask students difficult, but practical questions to get them thinking in the right direction. I want my students convinced they can figure problems out on their own because when it's test time... I won't be there!
