What is your teaching philosophy?

The best part of being a tutor is stepping back and watching a student figure out a solution all on their own. I think the best way to get there is to try to avoid explanations and focus on questions and connections. If a student can start learning how to make connections between different things they learn and the world around them, they can start applying those connections to new situations.
