I am a graduate of The University of Utah. I received my Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies with a focus on Special Education. Since graduation, I have become a licensed teacher with the State of Utah and taught at a prestigious charter school within the Salt Lake Valley. As a teacher, I have the privilege of impacting children’s lives in positive ways each day. I strive to ensure that each interaction I have with a student results in a love for life-long learning. I inspire each student to do their best so they can achieve their goals. I encourage increased responsibility so that they will become leaders in the community. I teach each student to be respectful of everyone and everything in order to create a safe learning environment. While I love teaching a broad range of subjects in Elementary Education, I am most passionate about Mathematics, Music, and History. In my spare time, I enjoy reading books and watching documentaries about world history. I also enjoy playing the piano and violin, and being in the outdoors.
