What is your teaching philosophy?
When a student asks how to solve a problem, you can ask them a series of questions that will lead them to the answer. Oftentimes students are intimidated by problems. Doing this will help get them in the habit of enumerating the steps necessary to solve a problem. This makes problem solving less intimidating.
