Hello! Science is the #1 field that is consistently changing and progressing with the availability of new technology and information. As an undergraduate Biology student at SUNY Fredonia (and as someone who spends the better half of her time with her professors in our new science center) I am well-equipped with more than enough resources to teach anything from classic theories and principles, to exciting new discoveries to keep you informed and ahead of the game. One of my absolute favorite things to do is talk about and help others understand how fun and amazing science can truly be, so let's get together and get an A!

Q & A

What is your teaching philosophy?

Time, patience, understanding, and a responsibility to get on the same level as the student and build them up. There is absolutely no such thing as something one "just can't learn" or something one is "just not good at." With a little dedication, enthusiasm, and an engaging and suitable approach, anyone can learn anything.

What might you do in a typical first session with a student?

The first session would be more of a review to gauge what the content is, the depth of knowledge required for it, and how the student responds to it. After all of that is tallied up, I can figure out the best ways to tailor my instruction in a way that helps the student personally.
