I believe every student has the potential for great things.

How can you help a student become an independent learner?

Teach a student the importance of learning and understanding, and then the student will learn and understand the value of education.

How would you help a student stay motivated?

Students are motivated when they are in a comfort zone, being challenged, and have fun learning. I seek to accomplish all of the above for the desired outcome.

If a student has difficulty learning a skill or concept, what would you do?

The teacher must find other ways and modalities to reach the student in an effort to achieve maximum learning.

How do you help students who are struggling with reading comprehension?

The best way to help students with reading comprehension is to find the student's strength. Build on the strength and minimize the weakness.

What strategies have you found to be most successful when you start to work with a student?

The strategy I found most successful is active engagement and participation. One must ensure learning is fun and the content is engaging.
