I am a recent graduate of Southwestern University, where I received my degree in art history. I'm so very interested in helping students because it is my ultimate pleasure to help people learn and see them enjoy what they are learning. I have a fair amount of experience with students (generally children): I have served as an education intern at an historical museum, mentored middle school students, and my last job was at a children's museum. The subject in my tutoring repertoire is art history (specifically preparing for the Advanced Placement Art History exam). I particularly enjoy tutoring this subject because I am so familiar with it. As a high school student, my interest in art history was piqued because of a great teacher, so Id love to cultivate the same feeling in my students. I think when it comes to any subject, a student will benefit most if their instructor is able to relate to them and make the material relatable. I consider that to be my general approach when it comes to teaching. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and watching movies.
