After 14 years of teaching in public and private schools all over the world, I decided to take time off to volunteer, travel and teach yoga. What I have found during that time, is I feel much more validated and useful to students one on one. I have taught a variety of subjects including IBTOK, Theater Arts, Print Media Design, Journalism, IB Language and Literature in addition to high school and college level English/Language Arts classes

What is your teaching philosophy?

We will start with the materials the students have on hand, such as textbooks, assignments, and teacher websites. I do not believe in unnecessarily overloading a student. If I can enhance their learning by using their materials, then it reinforces what is going on in the classroom while improving the skills we are targeting.
