As a professional, educating and advocating for the success of all children, I challenge myself to create that positive foundation that motivates all learners for their time in my classroom and beyond. As an educator, I also strive to create a student-centered community where students feel comfortable sharing their opinion because they know it will be validated and have a purpose. I want my students to feel connected, engaged, and valued in their education. As a guide for learning and life, I want my students to make their own decisions, feel a sense of civic responsibility, and critically reflect on their roles as learners and participating members of their community.
