I am a recent college grad with a strong interest in the field of education and a thorough enjoyment of language, literature, history, logic, and long distance running. I am a firm believer in the power of education to bring people together and also bring solutions to many of the nation's and the world's troubles. I also like to keep learning fun and always enjoy turning challenges into puzzles.

In my spare time I like to read, cook/bake, compete with my running club, and explore New York City. I also work as a math tutor with SAGA Innovations during the week.

What is your teaching philosophy?

I like to keep learning fun and interesting. This means that instead of rote memorization, I like to understand concepts on a deeper level and encourage my students to do the same. I like to be open and friendly with my students because having a good relationship with those I teach only improves our ability to work together.
