I am very curious about almost everything and have long aspired to be a Renaissance Man. I became an educator because I love learning new things and helping others. I earned my B.S. in Social Science Education, an M.Ed. in Secondary Education, and an M.S. in Information Systems (business-technology). I am a Georgia certified teacher with more than 14 years of classroom experience. I taught middle school for 10 years, high school for two years, and adults for three. Classes I've taught or tutored include: Algebra, American History, American Government, Psychology, Reading, Georgia Studies, World Geography, 20th Century History, Computers, Literature, Mythology, Poetry, Shakespeare, Civics, Economics, Improvisation, Speech and Debate, Physical Fitness, ESL, Conversation, Writing, Technical English, and Test Preparation. I've worked with those who struggle to learn and the gifted in need of challenges. I have a knack for organizing complex subjects into simple lessons and assisting learners in attaining their goals. Those you are willing to learn will succeed.
In my free time I like to read, watch movies and documentaries, listen to music, and exercise. I really enjoy traveling and look forward to visiting new places.
