As a trained poet and writer, I come equipped with creativity and attention to detail. I am dedicated to finding the best learning path for each of my students, and I find joy in collaborating with learners on how they best learn. My connection to math is anchored in this creative spirit--helping students see these patterns is the first step to feeling empowered as budding mathematicians. I am committed to personalizing learning for each of my students. I use diagnostic assessments to help identify areas of need and use one-on-one targeted instruction to focus on filling in these gaps. For young writers, I believe finding confidence in their natural voice gives them the courage to take risks and this is where growth occurs.
