I first fell in love with tutoring while I was backpacking in Central America about 10 years ago. I was teaching English to children at a local school when I met two smart, motivated young women who had their minds set on being the first people they knew to go to university, ideally in the United States. We worked together over the next several months- perfecting their English, learning the SAT, and crafting their application essays- and that summer they both received acceptance letters and scholarships to schools in the US. Witnessing their goals being realized was by far the most rewarding thing I had ever experienced it and has inspired me to pursue tutoring as a career.
I have over 10 years experience teaching SAT and TOEFL, and I have been helping students achieve their GMAT scores and post graduate goals for over 5 years. I have worked for several prestigious companies in the US and Europe, and know these test -and what it takes to to beat them- like the back of my hand. I specialize in helping students attain scores in the 90th percentile and up as well as helping ESL students level the playing field.
After completing a diagnostic, I will create an individualized curriculum based around the skills you need to get your goal score. I will also provide you with study plan to help you optimize your study time. I look forward to working with you!
