The greatest reward I have had as an educator stems from not just the progress students show from content knowledge, but from the passion instilled in those who truly desire to be better overall people. When I am not working in an educational setting, I enjoy spending the majority of my time outdoors. Biking, running, and hiking are ways I can stay active and are great ways to decompress! One of the events I look forward to the most are the bike trips I am honored to take with Pittsburgh Youth Leadership, a program that provides an opportunity for youth in the city of Pittsburgh to see our nation while on two wheels.
