I first began learning French at a bilingual school in Los Angeles. I studied abroad in Paris with LA Valley College and then transferred to San Francisco State University where I spent my junior and senior year studying abroad again in Paris. After obtaining my Bachelor of Arts in French in 2013 I continued my progression of knowledge in the French language and culture by living and working as an English teacher while studying at La Sorbonne in the Latin Quarter of Paris, France. I returned from my 4-year expat experience abroad last summer (2015) and am a few months shy of obtaining my California Single Subject Teaching Credential for official full-time secondary school teaching of French. I am very passionate about my subject and the teaching profession as I have been tutoring for several years now, in a private one-on-one setting as well as for French and American companies in group and classroom settings. It is a true joy to pass on my knowledge and skills to others and help my students/tutees reach their goals.

When I’m not tutoring/teaching, I enjoy walking and exploring new grounds, reading good novels, hanging out at cafes, coffee, great pastries (like a true Francophile), French and other international films, playing guitar, appreciating music and live performance, and spending time with friends and family.
