I first began learning French at a bilingual school in Los Angeles. In my early twenties, I spent a Summer studying abroad in Paris with LA Valley College and then transferred to San Francisco State University where I spent my junior and senior years in Paris. After obtaining my Bachelor of Arts in French in 2013 I continued my progression of knowledge in the French language and culture by living and working as an English teacher.
I went back to school last year and obtained the first year diploma of a Master Degree in Applied French Language at The Sorbonne University, and will have the two-year diploma in June 2019.
After having spent about seven years in Paris giving private language lessons in person and online, language teaching remains a profession I am very proud of as it is an ever-changing environment that puts me in the position of helping other people reach their own language goals and explore new cultures as well as ways of experiencing the world.
