About Me

I graduated from the University at Albany with a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Studies, where I studied up to advanced level language courses in Mandarin Chinese as well as minored in Japanese studies. I also have extensive experience working one-to-one with students from my position as a Learning Center Writing Consultant where I assisted students in academic writing. By far one of the most rewarding milestones of tutoring is the moment you witness the student satisfied with the achievements you have helped them accomplish. Tutoring is a collaborative process whereby tutor and student work towards a common goal of academic success and achievement. I enjoy tutoring in ESL, Chinese, Writing, and beginner Japanese. Aside from tutoring, I am a musically inclined individual who dabbles in a number of musical instruments.
