About Me

My undergraduate degree is in Biology, but I also have a minor in Economics. I have experience tutoring in a volunteer setting, but have also worked extensively with my peers throughout the years. I am a team-player, and hope to use this attribute to work with my students to reach their goals. Thus, I would describe my tutoring philosophy as entirely facilitative - I want to be there to help my students reach their goals on their own. Personally, my interests shadow my studies, but extend beyond them as well. I am matriculating to medical school next year, and am passionate about biomedical science and helping people. I spend my free time reading, playing pick-up basketball or soccer with my friends, going on a run or for a swim, and watching sports. I tutor high school and college-level science courses, including chemistry, biology, biochemistry, and physics. I also tutor economics, at both a high school and college-level. I am also certified to tutor for the MCAT and for specific MCAT sections.
