I graduated in 2013 with a BA in Psychology from UW-Milwaukee. Since then, I've been working in a neuropsychology research lab at UWM, while also working towards acceptance into a Clinical Psychology PhD program. I love psychology, math, learning new things, and working with people.

As a junior in high school, I was taking AP Psychology and Pre-calculus, trying to decide which of my two favorite subjects I would choose as my major in college. Although I decided to go with psychology in the end, math will always be a subject I enjoy. I began tutoring as a 3rd year student with UWM's Panther Academic Support Services and really enjoyed it. I love being able to share my enthusiasm for learning with others! My goal is to simplify problems for students and help them relate to the material. I hope to take away any apprehension students may have towards a given subject, and maybe even turn that apprehension into enjoyment.

Q & A

What is your teaching philosophy?

Anyone can learn anything. It just needs to be presented in the right way.

How would you help a student stay motivated?

Think about past successes. Think about when you worked or studied really hard and how good you felt when you got the desired outcome. Seeing your hard work pay off, or seeing that you accomplished something you never thought you could, is one of the best feelings in life!
