I have a Bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida St. Petersburg. In 2014, I completed my Master of Arts degree in History from Auburn University. I am currently a PhD student of History at Georgia State University. Through my education I have had the opportunity to work closely with students as an instructor and graduate teaching assistant. While at Auburn, I also worked with student athletes as a lecturer and tutor, assisting them in their World History course. I am passionate about History, Literature, and Writing, and truly enjoy working with students in these fields. I find that students learn best when they are working collaboratively with their instructor, and I firmly believe that active engagement between the student and instructor provides the best opportunity for students to grasp the material. Education and learning can be a fun process, and I strive to make sure my students enjoy History, Literature, and Writing as much as I do. Outside of my academic work I enjoy, reading, watching and playing sports, especially basketball, and playing with my dogs.
