I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biology from Bob Jones University and have been accepted into medical school. I have an extensive history of volunteer work that involves all ages. Many of these experiences required teaching or assisting in a classroom. I enjoy working one-on-one with students and getting to know their personal strengths, weaknesses, needs, and learning styles. Using this knowledge, I tailor my tutoring for each individual student. When tutoring students, I strive to go beyond a mere understanding of the material. I seek to make learning enjoyable for them. By doing so, I hope to help shape them into lifelong learners. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about science and writing.
In my free time I enjoy playing volleyball, playing piano, and reading. I am also active in the children's and music programs at my church.
