"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime." I would like to base my teaching philosophy upon this profound Chinese proverb. My objective is to not only to help the students understand and solve problems, but also to make the learning process interesting for them and to give them tools on how to approach the problems. I have a B.S degree in Electrical Power Engineering Technology and a M.S degree in Engineering Technology from University of Houston. Math has always been my strong area. In my Calculus 1 course at University of Houston, I had the 3rd highest final average in a class of almost 200 students. I have also tutored many college students at University of Houston. I like to engage students in the learning process and use real life examples while tutoring.
