I love working with Autodesk Maya, Zbrush, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Unity. I also love video games and movies. That's why I chose a career in computer science and game design: because I get the best of both worlds. I enjoy helping people with their projects and working with students as they learn new concepts; not only do I get to share my own knowledge, but I always come out learning something new myself. I'm a cool and down-to-earth guy with an interest in teaching anyone who has an interest in learning!

Q & A
What is your teaching philosophy?
Always relay everything to real work reference. I'm a hands on type of person, and when I teach I don't like to lecture. I prefer hands on teaching.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
Get to know them. Find out what their interest and motivations. See if we have anything in common. I feel that it breaks down barriers and it makes them comfortable to approach me.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
Honestly, to become an independent learner, it has to come from them. I can't teach that, but if they are already approaching me about a subject they need help in or want to learn, then they already have that spark.
