Do you want to pass that literature class with flying colors, or ace the verbal sections of any standardized test? Drop me a line!
I was born in Sweden, and after a lengthy stint as a grad student and editor in the U.K. I finally ended up in Wisconsin. I suppose I am well on my way to becoming a cheesehead by now.
I have taught and tutored in the U.S., England and Sweden -- ranging from elementary phonics to postmodern literature and Elizabethan revenge tragedy. But irrespective of whether I am teaching pre-K or college, I want to convey a sense of how amazing language and literature are.
Hobbies include, but are hopefully not limited to: spending time with my wife, chess, and admiring magpies and other equally intelligent corvids. I also read too much for my own good, and this includes everything from Beowulf to the back of Corn Flakes boxes.
