About Me

Hello! My name is Emma, and I am an educator in Madison, WI. I have experience teaching elementary and middle school, and I have years of experience working at a college admissions office. As an educator, I can help you become a stronger reader by digging deep into high-interest texts. As a former admissions employee, I know how to make your personal statement stand out from the other applicants. If you need help with learning a new language, I also have 6 years of experience learning French and 4 years of Spanish. When I was a student, school did not come easily to me. My love of learning and asking for help when I needed it most allowed me to succeed through receiving both a bachelors and my masters degree in multicultural education. In addition to teaching the content, I want to pass onto each of my students my passion for learning new things and a growth mindset. It's not "I can't do this", it's "I can't do this YET".
