My name is Emma and I am a student at Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania, although I am originally from Illinois. In high school, my favorite courses were AP European History, AP Government, and French. At Bryn Mawr, I study political science and am particularly interested in Education Policy. I also work as a Tour Guide in my college's admissions office. In the past, I spent time working in Washington DC for summer internships. I also have studied French for 6 years and tutored French and Spanish in high school. I really enjoy tutoring foreign languages because I find learning a new language to be like solving a puzzle. The process of studying can be very rewarding, and I encourage students to use tutoring sessions as an opportunity to experiment with their personal learning styles and discover new methods that students can apply to all of their studies. In my free time, I love reading political and historical autobiographies, dancing, and snuggling with my cat and two dogs. I look forward to getting to know you as your tutor!
