I am an undergraduate student at Johns Hopkins University and am currently pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering.I have an excellent academic history and the knowledge of how to succeed in the classroom. I have spent much of my scholastic years helping my peers to understand math concepts by clarifying them after the lesson. This has made me accustom to reframing concepts in order to make them more comprehendible.
In addition to my educational qualifications, I am personable and can connect with my students. In elementary school I was diagnosed with dyslexia. With the help of my mother, a former teacher, as well as in school learning support, I was able to learn how to cope with my disability. This experience has provided me with familiarity with effective tutoring techniques. It also gives me patience and compassion for struggling students because I understand what it is like to be in their shoes.
