I have a Master's Degree in Spanish from Saint Louis University, Madrid Campus. I tutored English for five years during my seven year stay in Madrid. I believe in creating a positive learning environment where my students have the opportunity to grow in their second language. There is no such thing as speaking "bad Spanish" or "bad English", it is simply a matter of the level the student has reached up to that point, something that can change with effort and practice. I know first hand that acquiring a second language can be frustrating at times and demoralizing at others, so I know how to encourage others who are working toward that goal to push through those moments and help them realize that difficulties often lead to a breakthrough in understanding.
