Teaching reading strategies.

Show the use of a content first( in context), and then explain the grammatical item.
How would you help a student get excited/engaged with a subject that they are struggling in?
Using examples; situations that he can see in his everyday world.
What techniques would you use to be sure that a student understands the material?
Ask and answer questions. Correct the mistakes and write the correct form. Use the item learned to describe real activities in his routine.
How do you build a student's confidence in a subject?
Telling him that making mistakes is part of learning. Explaining that learning implies effort and time. Asking him what he thinks about teaching to adjust or improve it.
How do you evaluate a student's needs?
Based on what he wants to reach through the learning of a specific item, considering his skills and learning style.
How do you adapt your tutoring to the student's needs?
Designing lessons for them according to what they need to learn and how they can get them better.
What types of materials do you typically use during a tutoring session?
Visual materials, paper, slides, books, markers, and audio.
