About Me

I am a recent graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a focus on positive psychology. This education, as well as the time I spent teaching children at a local church, revealed to me the important role quality education and a love of learning have in boosting a child’s well-being. As a life-long learner myself, I genuinely enjoy imparting this appreciation for education and watching my students flourish as a result. Perhaps not surprisingly, my favorite subjects to tutor include study skills and test preparation, as the material taught can be more clearly applied across subjects and in other areas of the student’s life. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking with my dog, traveling, reading about current research in the social sciences, and meditating.
