I graduated college with a degree in sociology with a concentration in criminal justice. I didn't know if I would find a job teaching upon graduation, but I find one and I absolutely love it! I currently work in a 7th/8th grade Montessori classroom teaching math and science. I wholeheartedly believe every student has the potential to become something great. At my current school, we not only believe every student can learn but also every student WILL learn. If a student isn't grasping a concept it isn't because they can't, it's because the current method isn't working for them. I strive to find what works best for each individual student and build on it.
What is your teaching philosophy?
I believe that not everyone learns the same way, and the best way to teach is to find the best method for each student and run with it.
